Matthias (4) Badgley, son of Cornelius (3) and Elsey (Townley) Badgely was baptized at Elizabethtown September 11, 1771.

He was married to —-Abbot, and moved to Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Children of Matthias(4) and —-(Abbott) Badgely.

1. Jane Ann, married Charles Clark; born 1802 of Kingston;

2. William Edwin;

3. Henry, lived in Cayuga County, Canada;

4. Joseph, removed to the United States about 1829 and died 1862;

5. Alice, married Harmon Fairfield of Ernesttown, Ontario;

6. Mary, married Elias Price of Bath, Ontario.


The spelling of Badgely is the way it is spelled in the article. I am
