While on our travels we were able to spend a couple of days at the Allen Public Library in Fort Wayne Indiana. Know in genealogy circles as “Fort Wayne” like the Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is known as just “Salt Lake”. Fort Wayne is second only to Salt Lake in it’s resources.Quaker

Happy Dance Time

I was finally able to verify that The Pancoast Family History, by Bennett Pancoast is my family! I copied about 40 pages and I am giving serious thought to ordering a copy of the book on CD.

Come to find out, through my Nanny, Clarissa Jones Gustafson, I’m directly descended from the famous “Quaker” John Pancoast, grandson of the Reverend Samuel Pancoast of Ashton, England!
