| Text | THE TOWN OF TYRINGHAM, Berkshire County, was established March 6, 1762, prior to which time it was the new plantation called Number One. February 27, 1811, a part of Tyringham v/as annexed to New Marlborough, February 11, 18 12, a part of New Marlborough was annexed to Tyringham. April 12, 1847, ^ P''^^'^ Tyringham was established as Monterey.
