- SUNBURY — Arthur Jerome Clark, 92, of 252 N. Front St., passed away at 1:20 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018, at Sunbury Community Hospital.
He was born in Shamokin, Oct. 24, 1925, a son of Walter Albert Clark and Frances Mae Spears Clark.
Arthur was a graduate of Coal Township High School.
In March 1948, in Shamokin, he was married to the former Pauline Paul, who survives.
Arthur was employed as a paper maker for Simpton Paper Co.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and sons, Elizabeth Chemnitz and her husband, Robert, of Hatfield, Walter A. Clark, of Tunkhannock, and A. James Clark, of Runnymede; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Walburn, of Shamokin.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Myra Reitz and Alberta Mowery; and a brother, Walter A. Clark.
CLARK — Arthur Jerome Clark, 92, of 252 N. Front St., Sunbury. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Farrow Funeral Directors, Sixth and Chestnut streets, Shamokin, with the Rev. Beverly Petrovich officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Trevorton Road.
