MONTPELIER, Ohio Helen M. Malone, 73, 1011 Bordner, Montpe-lier, died Saturday (April 30, 1994) in her home.
Mrs. Malone was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Hudson, to John W. and Ruth E. Estes Little.
A resident of Montpelier most of her life, she was a homemaker, former foster parent, day-care mother and nurse aide. She was a member of Montpelier Church of the Nazarene and the Montpelier Women's Bowling Association.
She married Carl E. Malone on Oct. 29, 1938, and he survives. Also surviving are: four sons, William, James, Ronald and Phillip, all of Montpelier; four daughters, Lois Wright, Margie Gill, both of Montpelier, Susan Harrington of Alvordton, Ohio, and Carol Courtney of Pioneer, Ohio; three brothers, Russell Little of Lansing, William Little of Grand Rapids and John Little of Jonesville; and three sisters, Mary Ladd and Doris Engle of Jonesville, and Maxine Johns of Pioneer; as well as 22 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one step grandchild and four step greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home of Montpelier, Ohio, with the Rev. Samuel Starnes officiating. Burial will be in the Shiffler Cemetery near Bryan, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home. Memorials suggested to the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene or Hospice Care of Williams County
