Travel (Family)	1949	Livingston, Essex Co, New Jersey
Aunt Laura traveled with them also. **I have hand written notes of this!! Somewhere! Feb 17, 2019 Just got off the phone with Auntie Em. She said, "Rog was very sick on that trip". She said, "while they going over the 'Rockies' that he was so ill he was lying on the floor of the car". And while they were at Aunt Dode's, she (Em) went downstairs to tell the adults that, "there was something wrong with Rog, he was really sick". She said, "he was really having trouble breathing". At the beginning of the trip as they were going through San Bernardino, I believe they would have been traveling on Foothill Blvd, at this time, 1949, the 210 Freeway had not been built, the 'swamp cooler' broke and dumped all the water onto Grossie. They stayed at what Auntie Em called the TeePee Motel, which is actually the Wigwam Motel at 2728 Foothill Blvd., Rialto, California To read more about this trip go to 'Clan Lore' website (http://clanlore.com) and click on 'Our Clan's Lore' Witness Role: Witness: [I88] Emily Adele MORROW Witness Role: Witness: [I85] Roger Ashby MORROW
