Caption Note: The Alpha Club of Livingston was founded January 1911 and incorporated April 1916 as "Livingston Free Public Library".In 1930 Livingston Township took over Northfield Social Club, which became the Roosevelt Branch and Livingston Free Public Library (Alpha Club) to form "Township Of Livingston Free Public Library.This picture is what the color portrait hanging in the Livingston Library (without the two alternate ladies) included, was painted from. The two alternates are in the back row; 2nd from left, Mrs. Brant and 2nd from right, Mrs. Rainey.
